COVID-19 Update

We want to update you and provide additional clarity on how we are planning worship services and ministry events. Thank you for your patience as we navigate this challenging season.

Following the latest update from Mayor Muriel Bowser and the DC Department of Health (DC DOH), St. Paul Christian Community Church will not gather in person but will offer online and in-call Sunday morning worship services until further notice.

‍

In addition, all St. Paul Christian Community Church ministry events and meetings are canceled or postponed until further notice.  The St. Paul Christian Community Church offices are closed and the staff is working remotely until further notice.

Sunday Morning Worship Services

Sunday morning worship services will be live streamed on our Google Meet link with recordings of the full worship services available at stpaulccchurch.org/sermons.

Financial Measures & Giving

Our staff and elders are taking aggressive measures to freeze spending while still focusing on the priorities of: (1) serving people inside and outside our church, and (2) providing for our staff as they minister. Everything we do in ministry is dependent on our collective generosity.

Online giving is now the main way to support the ongoing ministry of St. Paul Christian Community Church. You can give online at stpaulccchurch.org/give.

Pastoral Care  

Our elder, deacon, and staff teams are providing pastoral care for our people in this season—especially those in our congregation who are at greatest risk. For example, our elders and deacons are reaching out to all of our members, many groups such as Students and counseling are meeting virtually, and we are providing daily online resources.

For Small Groups and Bible studies, we encourage you to explore other ways to meet via phone or video calls to continue ministering to, encouraging, and praying for one another in the weeks ahead.  

We care deeply for those who are affected by this and are praying for God’s leading and wisdom as we navigate the next few weeks.
